I am an aspiring software engineer currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at The City College of New York. My passion lies in leveraging technology to solve real-world problems and create innovative software solutions. I have a strong foundation in programming languages like C++, Python, Java, and HTML/CSS, and am continuously seeking opportunities to learn and grow. With experience in coding, problem-solving, and teamwork, I am eager to contribute to the software industry in meaningful ways. My goal is to combine my technical skills with my drive for helping others, using technology to make a positive impact.

A Few Accomplishments

Here are some projects and past experience that I have had the oppurtunity to particpate in.

Headstarter Software Engineering Fellow

As a Fellow at Headstarter AI (July - Sept 2024, San Francisco, CA), I led the deployment of 5 AI projects using React JS, Next.js, Firebase, Clerk, and Vercel. Implemented agile methodologies and CI/CD practices. Developed an interactive support agent with OpenAI and Pinecone. Collaborated on building a SaaS product generating dynamic flashcards with OpenAI, integrating Stripe API for monetization.

Microsoft Student-day Hackathon

From February to March 2022, led a team of 4-5 students in developing a successful hackathon project that secured 1st place. By leveraging advanced communication skills, ensured clear articulation of ideas and strategies, which facilitated effective teamwork and the creation of impactful projects. This leadership and collaborative approach contributed significantly to the team's success.

Microsoft BAM Mentorship Program Hackathon

In July and August 2022, participated in the Microsoft BAM Mentorship Program, where I led a team of 4-5 students in developing a hackathon project. This experience broadened my understanding of the diverse career paths within Microsoft, providing valuable insights into the range of opportunities available. Additionally, I explored multiple company sites, gaining an understanding of how Microsoft utilizes its spaces to foster a positive work environment.

ACE Mentorship Program

From September 2019 to May 2020, participated in the ACE Mentor Program, applying mathematical concepts to develop infrastructure designs aimed at mitigating flood damages in Manhattan. Collaborated closely with engineers, gaining in-depth knowledge of various infrastructure types and their intended functions. This experience provided a comprehensive understanding of the complexities engineers face, which was translated into practical and effective solutions.
